The biggest lie every Protestant tries to use to evangelize you is their prosperity gospel. This is Satans way of luring people away from the true Church Jesus Christ founded. They say to you, “ look at me, ever since I left the Catholic Church, I no longer drink, I no longer smoke, I no longer do drugs, I no longer gamble, I am no longer a womanizer or a playboy and I am blessed financially. They put the blame on the Catholic Church on all the sins they committed, it was their very own personal choice to be a sinner, a drunkard, a smoker, a gambler, a womanizer, a playboy, a drug addict and financially irresponsible. All those things they could have changed and turned their life around if they had faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and they really truly wanted to change their lifestyle. Now they tell everyone, would God bless me if I was a bad person and an ungodly person? Look how successful I am now! I’m sorry to tell you my friend, your prosperity does not necessarily mean that you are a good person, a sinless person, a person favored by God, the prosperity you have does not make you a godly person. The great Saints have suffered very much, they were poor, they were sickly, they were frail, they have no worldly possessions nor positions but they have been blessed by God and they became Saints. God blessed those who have no attachment to worldly things and worldly positions and recognitions for their rewards is greater in heaven. A true servant of Christ Jesus does not seek to change the Church Jesus Christ founded for their own benefit but they change themselves to better serve God and glorify Him not seeking glory and recognitions for themselves but only for Christ Jesus whom all thanksgiving, worship and praise is due. Prosperity Gospel is Greed and Bad Philosophy distorting Christ’s teaching that is beneficial to money hungry Protestant pastors seeking a lifestyle of the rich, the powerful, and the famous.
